We stayed for 10 nights . This was our first visit to the Maddalena archipelago. We had a wonderful experience . We took a bus from Olbia approx 1 hour and straight onto the awaiting ferry which runs every 15 minutes . We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel mainly by the professionalism and kindness of staff who could not be more helpful . It is a 20 minute seafront walk from the town . We appreciated the silence and the panoramic view from our seafront balcony . The room was spotless clean and we had pre dinner drinks on our balcony daily . We were checked in by Rosie whose recommendations really helped us have a wonderful holiday . She mapped out best beaches and handed us a bus timetable and we were out the door to catch the 8.53 bus from front of hotel daily . The bus tickets are 1 euro each regardless of the trip if you purchase in local tobacconist or pay 1.50 on bus . The breakfast starts 7.30 and you can help yourself to a wonderful choice . Juices cereals cheese ham scrambled eggs fried eggs bacon fresh tomatoes cheeses - you name it a big spread . We had a wonderful experience with 10 days of sunshine and we hiked about 5km daily and covered Maddalena and Caprese joined by a wonderful bridge . We took a 7 hour cruise of the archipelago from the port and it was best experience coating 53euro each regardless. You will not find a better value front line hotel than Marilongsa and excellent staff we will never forget . Thank you super efficient Sarah we appreciated your help always obliging and multi tasking . You do not need a car on your visit just a good pair of walking shoes . See you in October Merilonga

“JUST BOOK IT !!!”

May not be much from the outside but this hotel is a little gem. The staff were amazing the hotel and rooms were spottless . Amazing views of the sea . One of the best breakfasts by far. Fabulous pool area .

We loved staying here. Don't be put off by the first impression of the building with is built above the car park and initially not very attractive. The rooms are nice with comfortable beds and we had a terrace with a sea view. Its great to have an outdoor pool and lovely area with a bar. The breakf… lisää

We loved staying here. Don't be put off by the first impression of the building with is built above the car park and initially not very attractive. The rooms are nice with comfortable beds and we had a terrace with a sea view. Its great to have an outdoor pool and lovely area with a bar. The breakfasts are superb and better than other more expenive hotels we staying in. Lots of fruit and home make cakes. And a dining room overlooking the pool. Without exception the staff were all so lovely, super helpful and welcoming and nothing too much trouble. It is a 10-15 minute walk into the main town.

What a lovely hotel! The reception staff greet you with the most warm and helpful service every time you pass them. They are an excellent and warm face to the hotel. What a lovely hotel! The reception staff greet you with the most warm and helpful service every time you pass them. They are an excellent and warm face to the hotel. All staff were friendly and professional. Every area in the hotel is spotlessly clean. Beds and bedding are very good quality for a 3 star hotel. There was significant attention to detail in our room. They are clearly well maintained. We had a fabulous Seaview room. The breakfast is excellent and there is something there to please everyone. So many cakes! We did not have a car and managed fine. It is 1km from La Maddalena and the walk did us good. There is a supermarket next door which is very handy. A few small suggestions: Tea and coffee facilities in the room would be great. Some variation in the cooked breakfast would be welcome. We were there for 12 nights and would have enjoyed something different. The Hotel Miralonga is a lovely, welcoming and very clean hotel. We would happily return Grazie mille!!
