“View with a Room”

Super little hotel right on the beach in San Giorgio. We found the place travelling by train from Palermo. Super little hotel right on the beach in San Giorgio. We found the place travelling by train from Palermo. The railway station is less than 5 minutes walk and a very convenient way to get to the hotel. Although the owner, Veronica, picked us up Patti, the next stop and took us to the hotel. The hotel is newish and in very good condition. Its all done up in a jolly seaside way, with whites and blues, boats, sun, sand and sea the format for walls, curtains and even cups and plates. All very jolly. We had a functional room up on the 2nd floor that looked out over the sea and onto their own private beach and Lido. The room itself was clean, simple and effective. A large double bed, firm mattress, a fridge and a flat screen should you for some mad reason want to watch TV while on the beach. We had a balcony looking out over the sea and onto the large garden area of the hotel. Breakfast was included and although was simple, it had everything you need to start the day, fruit, juice, cereal, cake, biscuits, rolls, jam and any type of coffee you wanted. For the price, absolutely no complaints. The staff were very friendly and helpful, in the hotel or on the beach. We were there at the start of low season, a few rooms were used, but otherwise it was very quiet, perfect for us :) I imagine it was a riot in the summer.

We (family of five) booked this hotel for a one-night-stopover on our trip to the ferry in Palermo. It was a very pleasant surprise! The hotel is newly built, very clean and with a refreshing design. We (family of five) booked this hotel for a one-night-stopover on our trip to the ferry in Palermo. It was a very pleasant surprise! The hotel is newly built, very clean and with a refreshing design. The staff really makes a difference here, We felt very welcome and all staff members were very helpful (e.g. printing documents, arranging beach etc.) There is a private beach in walking distance (about 100m) which also has a very good service, the beach was included in the price which was very nice. Breakfast is good, there is no restaurant in the hotel (as it offers B&B service only), but there are plenty of good restaurants nearby, all in walking distance. We wish we could have stayed longer here - we will be back for sure!
