“Restaurant excellent ”
We had a very nice lunch early April when most other restaurants were closed. It was a very nice surprise. Especially the antipasti! The other guests were locals, which is a good sign, and it was correct this time.

This is a family run small hotel with the best restaurant for miles. They rooms are very comfortable and love the ones with the balcony. The best reason to stay here is because of the people. “Location! Location!”
This family owned hotel is in the town of Portopalo and you can walk anywhere from there. The beach is a pleasant if somewhat distant walk. “Basic hotel but great restaurant”
The rooms were basic and ok. The shower had its own water heater which wasn't on so the first person had to have a cold shower. A bit primitive. “Holiday in Sicily for non-italian”
Hotel room was clean and fine (apart of broken shower hand), the main problem was the noise during the night in the street ( you have impression that there is a group of 30 tourists but in fact there were max 3 local people, and at 5 am dustmen !!! ) and in the morning the hotel stuff don't let you… lisää
