Small, modern hotel right on the beach at Trapani. 800m from main Centre, which is packed with good quality restaurants. Easy walking into the town by the sea. We asked for a quiet room with a balcony and received one on the 5th floor. Modern,light and very clean. Good size bathroom with all toiletries etc. Huge balcony with fantastic views across the bay. Small beach to the side of the hotel. Staff were excellent and very helpful. Breakfast was plentiful with alot of choice. We had 2 dinners in the hotel which were lovely and on par price wise with some of the restaurants in town. This is a great area to visit with the cable car up to Erice. We hope to come back.

“Quirky and welcoming”

Perched along the coast out of the main town, the hotel has an unprepossessing exterior but a quirky and welcoming interior dominated by giant bookcases which act as space dividers. Perched along the coast out of the main town, the hotel has an unprepossessing exterior but a quirky and welcoming interior dominated by giant bookcases which act as space dividers. The atmosphere is relaxed. The delightful terrace and dining room overlook the sea which is a matter of feet away. The decking seemed limited but it also looked as if they plan to extend it. Entering the sea at that point is tricky due to rocks and major indents (as we were told by a wild swimmer in our party) so it could do with facilitating easier access to the sea via decking extending outwards. Further aeround the bay and also towards Trapani the beach is sand. The pool is clean, well tended and lovely. Our room was neat and clean but with limited clothes storage (only one of us could unpack) although perfectly manageable for a three night stay. A few drawers might be a thought for longer stay guests. Our view from the room was of the main road and the back of some local houses but other rooms did have far more attractive views with several at ground floor level overlooking the sea. We ate at the hotel on two nights. The food choice was wide and the food delicious. Two courses and a shared tiramasu with two drinks and water came to around €90. The walk along the bay to the town of Trapani is about 20 minutes - but a shuttle bus starts up in June. All the staff were helpful and welcoming.

Hotel is beside the busy main road, in the middle of nowhere. Room was small. Good breakfast. Pretty average dinner the seared tuna at €18 was overcooked and not very flavourful. Restaurant staff efficient but not overly friendly.
