Fantastic, friendly camping village. Just 40 minutes south of Pisa Airport. Great base to explore coastal and inland Tuscany. Really recommend hiring car, first time we did and went with the flow on the roads. We stayed last two weeks of August when the weather was mixed but the camp started to get quiter. Stayed in premium XL which slept 5 of us very clean and comfortably with three bedrooms. two bathrooms and decent size kitchen/ living area. The four pools are well used and offer something for babies up to big adults (only up to 1.2m depth thou. ) On site shop was useful and fairly decent range of goods and prices. We didn't use the on site restaurant, used the pool bar for snacks one which were fine. Always activities going on around during the day and night. Didn't participate but plenty others enjoyed. Really helpful and super quick when asked for one or two minor maintenance issues to be resolved though QR code which was very convenient. Would recommend the organised day trip the the island of Elba, beautiful place and sir back and relax and sight see. Location wise, brilliant. Local town Cecina 5 mins away, sea 10 mins drive from the camp. Choices of local supermarkets in Cecina to help keep costs in check were plenty with plenty of choice and ranges of food. Cecina Marina has alot of bars and restaurants and had a family and couples vibe We explored more then we every have during the two weeks. Florence was amazing. Pisa, the tower and cathedral where stunning (rest of place was underwhelming). Lucca was lovely town with city wall walks and great day out. San Gimingano is really worth the drive to visit, simply stunning and lastly the other hidden gem was another hill town was Volterra.

“Great camping!”

We have been here last May holiday and the holiday was really great! Beautiful campsite and nice staff! After the first night in the cottage where we stayed we wanted to move to another location but this was absolutely not difficult and we could change for only the cleaning costs. We have been here last May holiday and the holiday was really great! Beautiful campsite and nice staff! After the first night in the cottage where we stayed we wanted to move to another location but this was absolutely not difficult and we could change for only the cleaning costs. Super service and swimming pool was also great. Especially for (small) children the soft surface of the swimming pool is ideal. The only point where they can improve is the restaurant, the food at tents in the area is much better and often even cheaper. But we had 2 great weeks!

“Towel reservations kill the great camp site”

We just got back from our 13 day stay there. The camping is quite nice, with all facilities a family needs. We had a premium or deluxe or whatever it was called, but there was nothing premium or luxury about it. There was also nothing wrong with it; pretty small but manageable, the airco worked fin… lisää

We just got back from our 13 day stay there. The camping is quite nice, with all facilities a family needs. We had a premium or deluxe or whatever it was called, but there was nothing premium or luxury about it. There was also nothing wrong with it; pretty small but manageable, the airco worked fine and the terraces are convenient for the evenings and to have the meals. The staff was super friendly and all of them try to make it a nice holiday. All the faculties were clean and well maintained. There are however two main drawbacks on this park. It’s super noisy, you have to bring ear plugs if you want to sleep let’s say around 10. Not all music is coming from the entertainment team though, we found out that there’s a nightclub close by with techno “until the break of dawn”. Oh boy, we found out…. Now you can say okay it’s fine for a camping, I’m not going to bed early anyways. Then there’s the second negative that personally I find worth mentioning because for me it’s a topic where I select my resorts on. It’s the “towel reservations” at the swimming pool. The pool opens at 9 am, at 930 all the seats are “taken” by people who put their towels there and go back for breakfast or even a daytrip. I hate this behavior so much, especially when we with our 3 kids had to sit on the grass for three days in a row. The fourth day I got so upset that I spoke to the staff about it, and of course they had no clue what I was talking about. For me this is a big thing, because it comes back every day and it’s super easy to prevent. So, despite the nice campsite and friendly staff, we will not go back to Hu again. I’m not interested in towel reservations, or worse; convincing the staff that they should act on it.

“I really wanted to like this site”

We asked for a quiet room as my son is autistic as we like down time in the evening. We were put in accommodation right by the pool. Our first night (after being up since 3am) we felt we were in a festival the music was so loud until 11pm. If people dont mind this thats great but for us we like pe… lisää

We asked for a quiet room as my son is autistic as we like down time in the evening. We were put in accommodation right by the pool. Our first night (after being up since 3am) we felt we were in a festival the music was so loud until 11pm. If people dont mind this thats great but for us we like peaceful evenings. There is music most nights and the pool party night goes on until midnight! I also dont like that drinks are in plastic glasses even when sat in the bar. Our accommodation great though we had a premier XL through HU and it was clean and the beds were made on arrival. We used the site as a base for exploring with road trips to Pisa, Lucca, Sienna and Florence. The pools are really busy and getting a lounger was impossible. Its a lovely setting leafy and green we just its just not peaceful at all which is disappointing after asking for a quiet area. We had unpacked everything before realising we were front row for evening entertainment otherwise we would have moved
