I stayed here for one night and was impressed by the cleanliness and modern interior of the place after weeks of traveling through hostels in south America. One airport transfer is included (5min driving) in the room price as is a breakfast of eggs, toast, cheese and hot chocolate. I found the staff very helpful, even though their English was limited and knowing Spanish proved helpful.

“inexpensive no frills airport hotel”

I stayed here for one night as I arrived in the late evening to Bogota and had an early flight to Medellín in the morning. The hotel was no frills, basic, and clean. I stayed here for one night as I arrived in the late evening to Bogota and had an early flight to Medellín in the morning. The hotel was no frills, basic, and clean. Located on what appears to be a "shady" side street, I wouldn't plan to walk around. The room came with a tv, towel, and a packet of antibacterial soap/shampoo combo. The hotel offers hotel pickup for COP $17,000 which was a nice option if unfamiliar with the area (Uber was cheaper). The reception staff was nice and friendly. A few days prior to my trip the messaged me on Whatsapp to confirm arrival time and see if I wanted airport shuttle. In the morning I took the "airport shuttle"/taxi and it arrived on time. The hotel offered a wake up call. They claimed to accept credit cards but when they tried to swipe mine, it suspiciously didn't work (worked everywhere else I used it) so I wondered if they just preferred to take cash due to the low cost. Overall, perfectly fine for an inexpensive night's sleep close to the airport.

We only had a 5 hour layover between flights. Our next best alternative to sleeping on the airport floor was Aces del Dorado. The price and the reviews on other websites made us choose this hotel from the other options close to the airport. The room was ok, small for North American and South American standards, but clean, same for the bathroom. Wifi did not work properly. We did not have a chance to have breakfast since our flight left early in the morning. The staff was quite nice an helpful. I would not recommend anyone visiting Bogotá to stay here. It is far from the main attractions and it is mostly an industrial neighbourhood.
