“Good option”

Good option, low cost, great restaurant and coffee. The room is quite simple but is confortable. Free wifi and a nice view to nevado juiz from the restaurant and also from some rooms. It is not so far from the airport

“Central hotel for birding days out.”

Centrally situated. Large reception area. Rooms are large and well equiped. Restaurant serves good food, service a little slow. Breakfasts is good with plenty of choice.

I spent a few days at this hotel on business - August 1-5 but I decided to move out at my own expense on August 4 frustrated by the inactivity of the front desk personnel on various requests. Here is but one example- I had rented an additional room for a visiting relative and she forgot a blouse - we were out and phone and the staff told us that they would look into it. When we arrived the night before my scheduled departure, my wife and I asked about it but the front desk attendant didn’t seem interested in even looking into it (we were the only people involving the staff in an empty lobby). I insisted and finally she looked below the front desk and it wasn’t there - she then said maybe it is upstairs ... so she called and said nobody answers ... I said, can somebody look into it? Go upstairs? Or I can go - tell me where... She said, something like maybe tomorrow you can ask the staff ... I asked can the bell boy go or me ... - nobody else was in the lobby except for Gabriel ... the employee wouldn’t do anything until Gabriel intervened ...typically there were two attendants at the front desk both women - when one of them was attending a customer the other one would not attend a second customer with bizarre excuses ... never had change for any bill - needed to pay for taxis - if they had they probably never looked into it - I left for the Varuna Hotel and paid out of my own pocket for a night - Cheaper Hotel, bigger rooms, well illuminate. nice staff and in my opinion better located

“Reasonable and central place to stay in Manizales, but not for the food”

The staff were friendly and the hotel is clean and centrally located. WiFi OK - not great. The buffet breakfast is minimal, but OK. The lunch and dinner menu are fairly limited.
