“Bargain worth enjoying”

I loved my stay at the Hampton Inn in Yopal! The hotel is clean, updated and inexpensive. I worked remotely and stayed for 3 weeks on points – 5,000 points per night! I wanted to stay longer yet I was compelled to travel to the US for work. I would cheerfully live here for months on end at this near-free rate! The staff is friendly and helpful. Most people that I encountered in Yopal speak only Spanish and I speak only English, yet we got along fine. I quickly learned which staff members spoke English and would ask for them if needed. I accomplished most exchanges with limited language and a few charades. The front desk clerk summoned a taxi for me and managed to find and English-speaking driver! The taxi driver took me to vistas on the other side of town. He told me about venues around town including restaurants and shopping centers. The Hampton is 3 kilometers, 40-minute walk from downtown Yopal. There are a few cafes and a shopping center with an Exito store (like Target) across the street from the Hampton. Downtown has more restaurants and some attractions. The Hampton has a little bar and restaurant with simple menu. Although the Hampton prices are higher than restaurants outside the hotel, it offered a nice option when I felt like staying in. The staff even made special treats for me sometimes including fried eggs for breakfast and they delivered a unique dessert to my room one evening. The taxi between the Yopal airport and the Hampton Inn cost 8,000 COP; $2.40 USD.

“I’ll be coming back.”

The room was very comfortable and well distributed. Wifi worked great everywhere and it has 24 hour gym. The breakfast options were very good and service was great. The staff was so kind, always attentive. The check in was pretty quick.

I return; It has an excellent internet connection, there is a comfortable big table in the lobby to work if you are with a business group; also there is a restaurant service with an accessible price and varied menu. “Great Hotel and Service”

Traveled to Yopal for the first time and was surprised Hampton was there. Very nice hotel, great rooms and very nice hotel staff. All the comforts of home. Located near the airport and several restaurants and shopping. Very safe as well.
