“Beautiful and in harmony with the surrounding region”

What a lovely place! We thoroughly enjoyed our 3-night stay. The friendly staff were welcoming and helpful, the grounds are expansive, and the meals were great. The owner greeted us warmly, as did a friendly group of felines. Shout out to Martina! She "adopted" us. Christian led us on a great hike.

Wonderful place with a magical view. Very comfortable rooms and delicious meals in the restaurant. The view from the terrace of the room is breathtaking. We had an organized trip to coffee plantations with a presentation of the production of the highest quality coffee. An equally fantastic option is ziplining (canopy line about 1.7 km) above the coffee plantations. An unforgettable experience. I absolutely recommend staying in this place and using its attractions. The staff is very nice and honest. I am very grateful for sending back the Air pods I left at the hotel. I highly recommend hotel Bosgue del Saman! This is one of those places that are hard to forget.

“Lovely place - fantastic people”

A delightful place to stay on a working coffee estate. It's completely unpretentious but feels like luxury and it's a haven of peace in a country that can sometimes be a bit full-on. A delightful place to stay on a working coffee estate. It's completely unpretentious but feels like luxury and it's a haven of peace in a country that can sometimes be a bit full-on. The rooms are spacious and clean, there is a lovely pool and activities including zip-wires, cow milking and a really mad coffee tour for which you put on traditional costumes. The staff are all very helpful and go out of their way to make sure you have a comfortable stay.

“Countryside stay”

We stayed 3 nights at this countryside hotel. It is a very rural location and is accessed by several miles of gravel road. We stayed 3 nights at this countryside hotel. It is a very rural location and is accessed by several miles of gravel road. We liked the idea of staying off the beaten path, but this place was a bit too rustic for us. Many of the rooms are located across the road and up a hill from the reception and restaurant. Our room was plenty large, but very basic with only one bright light to illuminate the bedroom (no reading light) and very unreliable WiFi (only worked in the morning or in the public areas). The bed was very hard with no A/C (not an issue in December with comfortable temperatures, a fan and a quiet rural neighborhood). I think because we were on the 2nd floor, we had issues with losing access to hot water during times when many others were showering. We ate a number of meals in the restaurant and the food was somewhat disappointing (other than the soup which was excellent). Breakfast was ordered from a menu (printed in both English and Spanish) of about 8 items. They have a number of cats and a dog on the property which we enjoyed interacting with.
