Very good and very nice staff they was very clean and took care about every little concern we had. The location is very good tight next to the main part of the town and all in all very good experience we had here is Salento. They have free cafe and tea and very nice seating area

The place was really nice for the coast. A small studio with an amazing balcony in addition of a stunning view. Don’t underestimate this amazing place where the people are also welcoming and the place around beautiful and enjoyable. Muchas gracias por todo y hasta luego

“Perfect location with a view”

Did 9 days in the coffee triangle last week. Had no reservations, just parked in the center, had beers and walked for hotels near the square. Did 9 days in the coffee triangle last week. Had no reservations, just parked in the center, had beers and walked for hotels near the square. This small, well maintained hotel was in a perfect location. Had a rooftop terrace we relaxed and enjoyed evening cocktails. Rooms are small, but clean, with an excellent mountain view out the back for an awesome sunrise. Breakfast was ready when we asked, and was a just what we wanted.The best asset of the hotel was the manager Tovar. He spoke excellent english and was a wealth of knowledge. Insted of riding a jeep bumper way to early the next morning, he suggested the perfect time to arrive to give the fog time to lift, and drove us up in his personal car, which was a nice alternative to the cramped jeep ride. Although none of us expected it when we got there he actually went on the hike with us. The valley, the views, the palms were a magical location, but having Tovar to discuss the history, military, future of his country was priceless. He arranged a later checkout because he stayed in the valley with him so long. He even helped us with future days in the area. We had his personal number when he left and he even helped us with travel details and found us hotels in the bigger cities after we had left his property. Staff make a hotel for me, and he went beyond what is expected. I feel we have a new friend in Colombia, and I will return to this stunning area. We arrived at 1pm because our booking from hotels.com stated that was check in time, once there we were told check in is actually 3pm. We arrived at 1pm because our booking from hotels.com stated that was check in time, once there we were told check in is actually 3pm. It was a bit annoying but we left our bags and set out to explore. The location is great, you really couldn’t ask for a better more centrally located hotel. Once we returned at 2:52pm we were told the room wasn’t done yet. But it should be in 20 minutes. We were offered coffee while we waited. All very thoughtful and accommodating, but really after a full morning of traveling we just wanted to be in our room. It was done a little after 3pm. Once we made our way through the kitchen and down the hall we ended up in #6. It’s a very small room with windows that open to the basement area. Because we book with hotels.com I’ve noticed a trend, both in the US and abroad that we tend to get lower quality rooms. Since I didn’t see any other rooms I’m not positive where #6 is on the list, but I’m guessing towards the bottom. It was so cramped we couldn’t even open the door all the way. If we left the windows open for air we heard all the ruckus from the kitchen and hallway. Since we visited in February we had pretty cool and comfortable weather, I can’t imagine what it’d be like in the summer months since there’s no air conditioning or fans in the room. A fan is pretty basic and would have made our stay more comfortable, even in a cooler month. Lastly, the mattress felt old and uncomfortable. We were told breakfast was available from 8am-10am. On the last day of our stay we asked about breakfast and we were told no breakfast today. Thankfully we had no issues leaving our bags again after checkout so we could spend a little more time taking in the city. Overall the staff were friendly and helpful (though not bilingual as was advertised on hotels.com). Location really couldn’t be better. But, the rooms could use some updating and a deep cleaning. If I had a friend visiting Salento I’d probably recommend a different place.
