“Very pleasant stay at Hotel Soratama”

My girlfriend and I stayed at Hotel Soratama for a week in August, 2024. The stay was very pleasant. We had a double suite which was huge, modern and spotless. My girlfriend and I stayed at Hotel Soratama for a week in August, 2024. The stay was very pleasant. We had a double suite which was huge, modern and spotless. It had a huge TV that you could turn so you could watch it in bed or in the living room area. Nice big bathroom with a big tub and shower. It was perfectly quiet at all times. Never heard another guest since we were at the end of the hall. Staff were excellent in every way. The food at the breakfast buffet was great. Lots of juices and soups and eggs and meats and pastries. We are late sleepers and sometimes missed the cut off time for breakfast but for only $12 they would deliver all of it up to our room. That is $12 for both people, which is very reasonable. The restaurant at the top was fantastic. It has a view overlooking Plaza Bolivar and the rest of the city. The food was delicious and the staff were super professional. The Plaza was fun and safe at all hours and the streets around the hotel were full of interesting places to shop and eat. The only small issue was that being on the top floor, or maybe it was one floor down, the water pressure was not very strong. It was very strong in the shower, but not in the toilet or sink. We had a problem with the toilet and it was fixed very fast, but the problem came back again before we left. There were no English speakers at the front desk but they were very patient and we eventually understood each other with my intermediate Spanish. This will always be my main place to stay in Pereira and it is highly recommended.

Excellent hotel in the heart of Pereira. Strategic location and excellent customer service. Breakfast in itself is delicious with a variety of choices to choose from. Nothing to envy other 5 stars hotels in the area such as MOVICH and or SONESTA. Mayerli Coromoto Vitoria is indeed a unique employee of this facility. During our 5 day stay at the hotel we notice her excellent customer service dedication to each and everyone of the guests that walk into the dining room area during the breakfast hours. It’s indeed individuals such as Mayerli that make this facilities a 5 star hotel in the customer service area.

The hotel is very nice, clean and comfortable however the room and bathroom are very small. The location is good adjacent to Parque Bolívar. The breakfast was very nice with a good selection.
