Cabanas Agua Dulce is the perfect place to relax and unwind. The little cabins are clean - not luxurious, but very nice and comfortable. Most have a queen bed on the first floor and a smaller bed in a loft above. The air conditioning worked well. The WiFi is slow - but that's the case all over San Andres and Providencia. The staff is excellent: friendly, helpful. We couldn't have asked for more. They had restaurant suggestions, helped arrange a guide to take us to El Pico. And, they arranged to have a motorcycle delivered to the hotel for us to tour the island. The restaurant is very good and offers a hot breakfast and full lunch and dinner menus. The bar at the hotel only seems to open during peak months. So it was closed when we were there. But directly across the street at the Sun Set View restaurant (also owned by this hotel) you can get a drink as well as a panoramic view of the ocean. The hotel does have a heated pool. We used it late in the afternoon and had it all to ourselves.

“I felt home!”

My stay at cabañas agua dulce was just awesome. Juanita and her mum are the owner and running the hotel. They really made me feel home. Around the breakfast and the dinner it’s easy to chat with them and to get some good recommendations. They are so nice and helpful. The property is very well loca… lisää

My stay at cabañas agua dulce was just awesome. Juanita and her mum are the owner and running the hotel. They really made me feel home. Around the breakfast and the dinner it’s easy to chat with them and to get some good recommendations. They are so nice and helpful. The property is very well located, close to the beach, to Felipe diving, to the supermarket Morgan, some really good restaurants like Miss Elma and Donde Martin if you want to have an alternative to the tasty hotel kitchen. Compared to the most it’s very green. So you will find yourself in a beautiful tropical garden. With my separated bungalow, my own terrace and my own hammock I could easily get away from all, read a book or just relax. If you wanna be a bit flexible and discover the island Juanita and her mum will offer you a good price for a scooter incl. insurance which you wont get usually to that price. And after three days it’s possible to get an discount. If you cannot be off the grid and need an internet connection you will find close to every supermarket a public wifi area. It’s very slow and just working for whatsapp messages. You will have a problem with videos. If that isn’t enough you can buy a movistar sim card for 8000 pesos and charge it with 20000 pesos in the supermarket of the centre. If I look back I found everything I needed with cabañas agua dulce. I really enjoyed my stay there and will always go with this hotel on Providencia.

“do not trust breakfast”

they promised breakfast but it never happened. After some conversations they promised they would but they never had enough supplies. fruit, bread, arepa cheese, tea etc always "finished"or out of stock. After some conversations they promised they would but they never had enough supplies. fruit, bread, arepa cheese, tea etc always "finished"or out of stock. We had to go to the supermarket ourselves and get stuff for a decent breakfast... Specially I had my 87 year old- aunties. They are masters making up excuses and apologies. They try to save every cent and rather not spend money getting groceries or fruit to make breakfast. They should not offer breakfast and of course NOT charge for it, since you don't get it anyway....
