The location, price and amenities offered by the Hotel Cuarta Avenida are some of the best in Cali. I was there with family who were staying at two other major hotels and after being in both I can say that this hotel rivals them in almost every category. The staff is extremely friendly and effective even though I did not speak much spanish. Thats not to say you shouldn't try speaking a little spanish to help things along ;) Our room was extremely clean, spacious and cool when we needed it to be. The only thing that was less than great was the amount of hot water. However, while I was there the temperature was hot enough that the cool water was refreshing before or after a hot day of walking and dancing. In addition I only ate breakfast there once as there are so many places I wanted to eat, so I cant speak on any food other than the breakfast I ate which was delicious! And if you need advice on anything including salsa lessons, I encourage you to ask Alcira; she's incredibly helpful and friendly. I LOVED sitting on my balcony every morning and watching the city wake up and move. Like Cristo Reys outstretched arms, the Hotel Cuarta Avenida will embrace you with love and warmth. Take it easy in Cali and stay here.B)

“Great location, friendly staff”

Stayed at Hotel Cuarta Avenida during a 4 day trip to Cali. The hotel is perfectly located for walking to local restaurants, pubs, downtown, and for night life. The staff, especially Maria Ellena and Shirley, two beautiful ladies working the front desk, are very friendly and made my stay wonderful.… lisää

Stayed at Hotel Cuarta Avenida during a 4 day trip to Cali. The hotel is perfectly located for walking to local restaurants, pubs, downtown, and for night life. The staff, especially Maria Ellena and Shirley, two beautiful ladies working the front desk, are very friendly and made my stay wonderful. The restaurant has the best traditional lunches that are incredibly well-priced. During the week it can fill up at lunch hour with nearby office workers. Did a private tour with Alcira (hotel tour personnel) of Christo Rey and two other point of view sight. Worth every penny. The rooms are large as I believe it used to be an apartment. The only thing that needs improving is the consistency of hot water. But that was a minor issue and would definitely stay at this hotel the next time I return to Cali.

“Great Location, Perfect Apartment.”

Is in more of a residential area but not far from the historical centre. The hotel is on a main road but very convenient. Great for self catering and a very clean and modern apartment. Is in more of a residential area but not far from the historical centre. The hotel is on a main road but very convenient. Great for self catering and a very clean and modern apartment. Breakfast selection which was included is very good with hot selection available. The hotel manageress was extremely helpful, she spoke excellent English and was very helpful with arranging an airport transfer and city tour. Would highly recommend this Hotel. There is a launderette close by if required.

“home away from home feel while on vacation”

Was here at Hotel Cuarta Avenida for over 2 months. Nothing bad to say. Before I went to Hotel Cuarta Avenida I was at another hotel paying more for a children’s size hotel room. I asked to see the room at Cuarta Avenida before I rented and one of my prerequisites was that the hotel room had a balcony. I was shocked to see how large the rooms where. Bedroom was master bedroom size and a good sized living room. Hotel also has kitchen with a refrigerator. Well furnished with a closet and didn’t have the hotel feel. It has a home away from home feel while on vacation. It is near one main streets and while on vacation I like to sleep in late there is double pane glass in the bedroom. Never heard the morning traffic while I was sleeping. The rooms are clean, like new. The bed is comfortable. A/C works. Hotel is within walking distance of sites and shopping. If you want to get groceries or shopping mall/commercial center is a 5 minute walk. The hotel also has a great restaurant downstairs. The hotel doesn’t have a grand entryway. It gives that up for the large rooms. The staff is very pleasant and friendly. They make you feel great for staying there. Do I recommend this place, Yes. Do I plan on coming back to the same hotel, Yes. I’ve been in Cali a few times and paid a lot more at other hotels. This was the best priced and best experiences I’ve had in any hotel.
