We were greeted at reception by Ornella. A lovely lady that goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is amazing .Ornella upgraded us to a sea view room which was stunning especially in the mornings. We were greeted at reception by Ornella. A lovely lady that goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is amazing .Ornella upgraded us to a sea view room which was stunning especially in the mornings. She showed us around the grounds of the hotel talked us through the all inclusive menu and timings of kitchen and bar. Ornella also gave us great tips of where to go in the evening and also booked our taxi for us. The staff were all amazing.We were served at the bar by Demokratios, Florin, constantina, Anastasia,Bakari and sakis. They all make the most beautiful cocktails and they also are very friendly... Demokratios goes out of his way to ask how you are and how your day and ecening was too. On checkout we were served by Trisha. Her service is also amazing . She helped us get a later checkout and we are thankful for that. Trish is extremely friendly. The hotel village is beautiful... a peaceful place with plenty of sun beds around the pool.it wasnt crazy busy to have to get up early to secure your bed.which was perfect. The pool area has a shaded area if you prefer to stay out the sun too which is good for those who do not like the sunbathe. There is always a life guard on duty. As the pool is very deep. The deepest I have seen i would say around 11feet. The room was very cosy . Very clean as they clean it every day. Fresh towels are given daily. And shower gels and shampoo and conditioner and body lotion is also given daily. There isnt much to do in the evenings as there was no entertainment while we were there but we took a taxi fir 50 euros to the mykonos town where we saw the most stunning sunset . Lots of bars and restaurants and cute little shops which are open till very early in the morning . Mykonos sure knows how to party and we will be back again. Thank you all for an amazing stay

We recently stayed at the Penelope village hotel for 1 week and we cannot fault our stay! All of the staff were so friendly and helpful but especially Dimitris. We recently stayed at the Penelope village hotel for 1 week and we cannot fault our stay! All of the staff were so friendly and helpful but especially Dimitris. We really felt as though he went above and beyond to ensure we had the best stay and that all of our needs were met. Our suitcases were left behind so did not make it to Mykonos with us however Dimitris contacted everyone he could and eventually got our suitcases to us by the end of the day, we definitely would not haven’t received them without him! Daily check in’s and friendly hellos also added a lovely welcoming touch. Thank you so much, we had the best holiday ever - made even better by a lovely hotel and staff!

“Typical Greek accommodation”

Personally I feel the negative reviews a little unfair, it’s a hotel in Greece, what do people expect? I would avoid if you have mobility issues as the accommodation is on a steep hill and there are a lot of steps and no lift, yes it’s a bit out of town so hiring a car is a good way to explore. I would avoid if you have mobility issues as the accommodation is on a steep hill and there are a lot of steps and no lift, yes it’s a bit out of town so hiring a car is a good way to explore. But the pool area is good and there are nice beaches nearby.
