We spent 3 nights in aria villas in mid September. It is the perfect scenery and location for those who want toescape from routine and daily stress. The view is breathtaking and the villa that we stayed was elelegantly decorated, spacious and felt like home. I think that the sound of silence describes everything. Its fornthose who apreciate the absolute relaxation. Of course the village chora is not far, but car is a necessity. The location is perfect for visiting any part of the island because its almost in the middle. The lady we spoke and booked the room was extremely kind, helpful and professional to all our questions and concerns. I would change only two small things. The lighting around the villa and the surrounding garden or flowers need a bit more care. We really hope to visit again next year.

“Breathtaking Views!!”

This is an amazing place to spend a week! The location is magnificent, we had panoramic views of the Serifos chora and the grand bleu of the Aegean Sea!!! This is an amazing place to spend a week! The location is magnificent, we had panoramic views of the Serifos chora and the grand bleu of the Aegean Sea!!! The viila is very comfortable and nicely decorated but we spent most of our time at the spacious veranda!!! we couldn't get used of that amazing view! we felt like the kings of the world! WiFi is not perfect but who needs it with such view??

This room is set on a booking site as Studio with sea view. The website of the site reads: Traditional Studio The difference is very large and is listed below: What we ordered - we received a complex of three small rooms each with a separate door that all go out to the terrace. A small bedroom with no cupboards but niches in the wall where a few clothes can be put in and uncomfortable. The bed is comfortable but built and attached to the wall where the niches are located so that access to them is difficult. The room is approximately 2.20 meters wide and 3 meters long, 3.5 meters wide. Second room - a kitchen about 4 meters long and 2 meters wide. The kitchen is fully equipped with a table for two. Third room - shower, WC, washing basin and washing machine. Under the hot water boiler you can place bags or suitcases, but access them hard. The terrace - to which all the doors are facing is spacious and equipped with benches built with table cushions and chairs. Overlooking fantastic views. Breakfast in the basket - shame !!! The basket consists of 3 small boxes of honey, 2 small jars of jam, bread for preparing toasts, biscuits, instant coffee, black coffee, tea bags, biscuits in a bag, The direction of the unit is to the east and south so that the sunrise until 16:00 is very hot on the terrace. There are a lot of ants and cockroaches on the terrace, and you have to always close the doors.

“Could be much better”

We stayed at the smallest villa ("sheppard house") in the complex of 3 houses. The other villas were not occupied in June when we were there. We stayed at the smallest villa ("sheppard house") in the complex of 3 houses. The other villas were not occupied in June when we were there. The location is beautiful, very secluded, even too secluded in my opinion. It's 15 minutes drive by car steep uphill from Hora, the last part of the road is dirt. In the beginning of our stay there when returning from Hora at night we had quite a hard time finding the house as it's not lit, not very well signed either and it's located in complete isolation. Unfortunately even the stairway to our villa was completely dark at night as the lights weren't working, which made the descent from the parking place quite challenging. There were basic items in the fridge, but in comparison with a similar establishment on Paros later on it could be much more varied for the price payed. The view from the terrace while having breakfast is outstanding though. The bathroom was clean, but the pressure in the shower was non existent, very very hard to shower. I couldn't wash the shampoo out of my hair for example. There were lots of bugs, but that's normal for the location in the countryside. Unfortunatelly you could tell the villas were not very well managed. We stayed at The Windmill on Kimolos which belongs to the same group and it was really professional, here unfortunately you could feel the neglection. There was a lady living at the complex, but she couldn't speak or understand a word English. She also used to sleep quiet long (until 10 AM), so if you needed anything from her (to call Miss Spiridoula in Athens, who is some kind of manager I believe), you had to wait untill afternoon or evening when you came back from the beach. The internet was not working when we came (I believe it never had, we obviously were the first guests to complain about it) and it took at least 5 phone calls to Spiridoula and 3 days to fix it. After I arranged all the PUKs and PINs and SMSed them to Spiridoula as she demanded she never thanked me for doing it nor did she return a SMS on the last day when aksing about our departure.The lady did clean the kitchen and the bathroom but she never entered our bedroom to make the bed or change the sheets. I don't know how long the villas have been around but in comparisson to similar villas on other islands the surrounding was bushy, dry, virtually no trees or flowers planted anywhere. All in all I'd say: quiet, secluded, clean, too far from Hora and the beaches and way to expensive for what you get (the fair price for the small villa should be max 70 euro. In high season that is).
