If you are looking for a truly amazing experience in Corfu, stop looking now. Villa Piedra is the most awe-inspiring, relaxing, and cozy property I (and my group of 7) have ever been to in our lives. It truly looks even better than the pictures. Iraklis is an extremely hospitable host, who provides great communication, wonderful tips for the local area, and is always there if you need him. When we landed, he met us at the airport with two taxis and escorted us to the immaculate property. He gave us a list of restaurants, markets, cafes, excursions, and everything else in between that we had interest in for our time in Corfu. He left us so many snacks, wines, and food to nibble on while we laid out and enjoyed the sun around the pool and jacuzzi. The house was massive, so we had plenty of room and the right number of beds for our rather large group. Outside, the view is absolutely amazing, and all of the amenities (ping-pong, grass area for the provided soccer ball, brick pizza oven, etc.) gave us plenty to do. We hardly even left the property except to run to the market for food. Upon leaving, Iraklis was lenient on the check-out time so that we didn't have to wait a ridiculous long time at the airport for our flight. He also went the extra mile and ordered two taxis to take us and offered to do the same if we planned to go anywhere else on the island. Overall, this was my best Airbnb experience to this day, and I and my group plan on making this an annual trip (maybe more). Do yourself a favor and visit the wonderful Villa Piedra.

I have visited Corfu many times and this has to be the best villa that I have ever stayed in. Everything about it was incredible and I can not wait to back again. I would highly recommend this property.

We feel very privileged to have stayed in such a fabulous property. Beautifully designed and furnished, luxuriously equipped, incredible views (the sunrises are amazing). The love and care owners Iraklis and Helen have put into creating Villa Piedra is truly heartwarming. The story of Helen being a child helping her grandfather in the olive grove, dreaming of one day building her own house there, then later meeting and marrying the man who helped her dream become a reality is really very special. It somehow connects you with Villa Piedra and made me feel very emotional but also content, safe and secure. The hospitality we received was a real treat, the welcome supper much appreciated by us all after a late arrival, and my daily chats with Iraklis a pleasure. You have such a wealth of local knowledge and willingness to help, it is a joy. My only complaint is that the mattresses were so comfortable that my husband and son spent far too much time asleep! We have every intention of returning to Villa Piedra......a true Jewel in the Crown of Corfu. Next time we plan to do less relaxing and see more of your beautiful island.

Firstly we just want to say thank you so much to Helen and Iraklis for wonderful week we spent at your villa, and all of the amazing help :) We were lucky enough not to only stay in this amazing villa but also hold our wedding here which was truly magical. Location: The villa is around 10 / 15 minutes drive from corfu town and enjoys a wonderful position in which it has some amazing views, but isn't overlooked, allowing you to ‘get away from it all’. There is a fairly steep hill to get to the villa, however it isn't that bad and once you have been up once (If you are hiring a car) you will be fine :) Villa (Bedrooms): All the bedrooms are maintained to an extremely high standard each with their own AC unit (Which goes very cold if you want to). The main bedroom is Huge! And has been very well designed with a dressing room / area, separate toilet, and separate shower / (Huge) bath. Been on the first floor and been at the back of the villa it has an amazing view. The other bedrooms are also very impressive None of the cheap hotel esque bedding here! Villa (Other rooms) The main room is massive and has a huge glass window which overlooks the back garden / pool and again the impressive views. There is a large flat screen tv with games console and satellite channels (Although this got little use from us!). The furnishings are of a very high quality and fit in well with the design of the house. You can tell that this isn't just a ‘quick build’ and the layout / items have been very well thought out with some beautiful wooden (Olive tree) decorations. There is a beautiful story behind some of the items in the house :). The kitchen has everything you will need including a huge fridge (Stocked with goodies when we arrived) espresso type coffee machine, and more. Villa (Outside area) As you walk out of the main back door you will be wowed by the amazing views, pool and dining area. You have a huge table which is undercover which is great for lunch and to get out of the sun for a bit. You also (Under the covered area) have numerous seating options. I loved sitting on the chairs that are right next to the wall taking in all of the views. The pool is brill and even has a separate jacuzzi section. It is designed to be an ‘infinity’ pool and allows you to swim right to the edge. There is also a more than large enough grass area which like the rest of the outside area and is very well maintained. Villa (Other note) One thing that really strikes you when in and out of the villa is the quality and that no expense has been spared. Little things like the way a olive tree is in the middle of the covered area (Which opens up to allow it to get sun, and how you have two very comfy beds on the edge of the pool make you realise how much thought has gone into the design. You really are wowed and it’s impossible to find any issues. Services: When we arrived we were greeted by some lovely local food and snacks which was a perfect start to our holiday. We also had a maid who came daily and did a wonderful job of keeping the villa at the very highest standard. As mentioned we actually held our wedding at the villa, which wouldn’t have been possible without the help and commitment of helan and iraklis. It made the perfect setting and all of our guests were overwhelmed (As were we) by how amazing it was!! Everything went perfectly to plan and was truly magical. As the sun began to set loads of little lanterns around the edge (Suspended by ribbon) of the covered area were lit which looked fantastic. Owners: Helen and Iraklis were the perfect hosts, they were always on hand to help if we needed anything (One night I was been stupid and thought I had broke the door and Iraklis came over on his scooter to check for me straight away). They truly care about their guests and want them to have an amazing time (Which you will) they also have a great passion for Corfu and when speaking to them you can tell that they love the island and just want people to have a great time when they stay. Organising our wedding without them would have been impossible. The helped source local florists, caterers, and even a cocktail man :). Thank you both so much for the wonderful stay, we feel we will always have friends in Corfu :) Sorry for the long review, but to quickly summarise, if you are thinking of staying here, stop thinking and just do it! I usually spend weeks researching places before going on holiday. And I am confident you won't find anywhere more perfect than this. I really hope we get the opportunity to stay over again in the near future.
