As a solo traveller eating alone can be a bit daunting but the whole team were very attentive. Special Thankyou goes to Vikki, who was easy to talk to, very helpful and knowledgeable. I would definitely return to this hotel.

So helpful. So kind. Go above and beyond. The manager is hands on. You will see him all around the hotel, helping wherever is needed. All the staff were exceptional on reception. chara in music bar and her colleague. Can’t remember her name with the tattoos. Maria and Jenny behind the bar. All the bar staff exceptional. Also Maria the dancer and beautiful Vicky hostesses. Warm and welcoming and so friendly. The hotel is pristine. Absolutely stunning, beautiful gardens and infinity pool with the most beautiful pool view I have ever seen. Food is great. Great variety I personally loved the buffet restaurant for choice and ease with kids. All staff in all restaurants were wonderful. Best staff at this hotel of any hotel I’ve ever stayed at and I worked in travel and I am very well travelled. Nothing is too much for them. The bad reviews on here are clearly wrote by people who have no clue or are just generally miserable people as I genuinely couldn’t fault this hotel. Book excursions with reception rather than prior to travel through tour operator as it’s cheaper and they have better knowledge of the area and travel time etc. first day we got here we were only guests. All the staff treated me and my girls like vip guests. It was wonderful. Stayed in a junior suite which was wonderful. Very modern and spacious. Entertainment in evening is low key but animation team good fun and there was entertainment every night not just cinema. Even when we were only guests. Hotel was fully staffed and they all doted on us. I traveled as a single parent with two girls and I have never found it easier, even in the uk, as the staff were so kind and helpful. They all made an effort to befriend me and my children and whilst professional, felt like friends. local beach not ready as start of season. I would recommend going elsewhere like I did and waterpark not open till 5/5 in case booking early although my kids were happy larking around on inflatables in the pool. The staff make this hotel. Every single member from manager to cleaners were kind and went above and beyond. I have never experienced service like it and like I say I worked in travel for many years and have stayed at many 5 star hotels. This island is Beautiful and we felt so safe and taken care of. Will be back next year! Wonderful wonderful stay. Wonderful memories. Wonderful people. Bliss. Don’t hesitate to book. You will not regret it!!!! We will be booking again for next year as we are in love with the hotel and the island paradise of kefalonia! Rania on reception is amazing for excursion advice and anything else you will need. Also melina in the shop opened back up even on her lunch to sell my daughter a pool inflatable and pump it up. All so kind. Love them all!!!

“Xi beach is a must”

I cannot stop dreaming about the location, we loved Xi beach, with its red sand and beach beds. The part of the hotel near the adult main pool, has the best accommodation. I cannot stop dreaming about the location, we loved Xi beach, with its red sand and beach beds. The part of the hotel near the adult main pool, has the best accommodation. When we arrived we were put into the older part and we were moved when we said we were not happy. The restaurant for breakfast, lunch and supper is huge, clean and lovely. I do not recommend the Italian restaurant, the food was way below par, but they left us a bottle of wine, which we gifted to the amazing cleaning staff. Most days we did not eat lunch because breakfast was so filling. The hotel is a long way from the ferry, so the uber is a little step, the ferry crossing is great and cheap and then you are in the main town of Agostoli, which I personally loved, it has a perfume shop which makes up great dupes, a great few clothing shops, lovely restaurants and bars, and even lovelier ones by the beach!. I dream of going back to the hotel, but it has gotten so costly over the years. I love the open air cinema at the hotel, and the art gallery when it is open. The tourists are a little stiff - UK/Germans/generally Europeans, but Greek people are lovely, friendly, welcoming. We loved it here. Desperate to go back, especially to the lovely restaurants on the way to the beach.

Wow, what can I honestly say about this place... I loved it! This was our first trip to kefalonia and I was slightly apprehensive about the whole ferry thing but I should not have been. We were taken on a coach to the ferry port, given our tickets and told to jump straight on the ferry, The ferry ride was wonderful the scenery was stunning and we were met at the other end by a taxi to take us to the hotel. When we arrived we were told we were being upgraded to a junior suite with a private pool which was so lovely. The room was in the asterias area and overlooked the main pool. The room was stunning and the pool was a fab extra as it's not something we would normally pay extra for but I now understand why people do. The restaurant staff were so friendly and there was always plenty of food with a good variety each day.. I had a recently diagnosed dairy allergy and the chefs were so helpful making sure that my food was not contaminated. The pools were all beautiful and there were always plenty of sunbeds we never had a problem finding one. The water park had just opened and I have to say we spent most of our days down there as it was lovely and quiet and you could just help yourselves to drinks, it would be great if they also offered some like snacks maybe as we had to go up to one of the restaurants for lunch and come back. The evening entertainment was so good for the little ones my daughter loved the mini disco and the entertainment team worked so hard. Sometimes we left the hotel and went down to the beach front bar just for a change of scenery but I would say after 9pm things are pretty laid back so if your looking for something upbeat this probably isn't your place but for a family with a young child it was perfect. There are nice running routes around the hotel the gym and spa were good, I had a lovely massage and everyone is so friendly form the hotel staff to the locals. We hired a car from the rental place opposite the hotel and drove around the island which was lovely and broke the holiday up and it's nice to visit the less touristy places and really get to see the island as it is so beautiful and everyone is so welcoming. We also spent a day at the beach which was literally a 5 minute walk from the hotel and absolutely lovely and went in a boat trip with the Artimis crew which was a fantastic day and so relaxing. I would 100% recommend this hotel to family's we had an amazing holiday and made some wonderful memories... Kefalonia is now my favourite island!
