“Honeymoon Review”

My wife and I stayed at Six Senses Kanuhura for our honeymoon, and it was truly the trip of a lifetime. From the moment we arrived in Male, we were welcomed by the Six Senses team guiding us to the appropriate locations with no hassle. The arrival on the island itself was even better...greeted by the entire executive staff and our GEM (thank you Zhanna!!!) for the week. We felt welcomed, cared for, and completely transported. The island is stunning—white sand, crystal‑clear water, and a sense of peaceful seclusion that made the entire experience feel incredibly special. The service was exceptional in every way. Every team member we interacted with was warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay unforgettable. We never felt rushed or like just another guest; matter of fact, we felt like we barely saw any other guests at all, even though they were at full capacity. Instead, it felt like the staff took the time to understand what would make our honeymoon meaningful and personalized everything accordingly. Our villa was beautiful, private, and thoughtfully designed. The attention to detail stood out—from the comfortable bed to the outdoor spaces to the small touches that made the room feel like a sanctuary. Waking up to the ocean each morning was something we’ll never forget. We stayed in the beach villa and the water villa to experience both. You can't go wrong with either. I'd like to specifically call out the housekeeping and in room dining team, who kept our room tidy with no intrusion. We received an in room amenity every single night with turn down service. Just such a nice touch and surprise that we came accustomed to and excited for every evening. The food was consistently excellent, with a variety of options that kept every meal exciting. Whether it was breakfast with a view, dinner under the stars, lunch on the private island, or snacks throughout the day, everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Cocktails were all made extremely well with a great selection. Shoutout to Ranesh at The Point. We made a daily trip there to make sure that we got to chat with him during Happy Hour! Extraordinary individual. We also loved the activities and experiences available. Whether we were relaxing on the beach, exploring the water, or simply enjoying the quiet moments together, the resort offered the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation. Six Senses Kanuhura exceeded every expectation we had for our honeymoon. It’s rare to find a place that combines natural beauty, luxury, and heartfelt service so seamlessly. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already dreaming about when we can return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an unforgettable getaway.

“Absolutely incredible”

We stayed early February and the only downside was we only had a week. Absolutely loved our time here. The videos and pictures we viewed before arriving do not even come close to doing it justice. “Paradise”

This is Paradise. Beautiful and quiet environment. Smiling and helpful staff. We had our personal Gem, Shifu , she took very good care of us the 12 days we stayed. The food was very healthy and tasteful. We will definitely be back.
