Mayflower is a lovely hotel. Modern, clean and in a great location. All staff were friendly and attentive. The rooftop pool has amazing views. We ate breakfast every day and it was lovely. Lots of choice. Before you book you must know most of the area is undergoing building works. There is a hotel being build behind this hotel and there are cranes and building work going on all day. It actually wasn’t too bad at the pool but if that sort of thing disturbs your peace then beware. It’s not the hotels fault just one of these things. Hotel has a bus station and lots of pubs and restaurants right beside it. Very handy for everything!

“1st trip to malta”

The stay at the mayflower hotel was lovely. The room was spacious we had twin beds in the room. The beds were extremely comfortable, best nights sleep I've had in a hotel bed in a long time plus there were plenty of pillows too. The breakfast was good, was nice to see proper bacon for breakfast. Lo… lisää

The stay at the mayflower hotel was lovely. The room was spacious we had twin beds in the room. The beds were extremely comfortable, best nights sleep I've had in a hotel bed in a long time plus there were plenty of pillows too. The breakfast was good, was nice to see proper bacon for breakfast. Lots of choice, cereal, pastries, yoghurt, fruit, cooked items, rolls etc..... Busiest times for breakfast we found were from 8.30/9am best time was 7/7.30. The hotel was clean and tidy. Maids came each day to clean rooms. Love how each floor had recycling bins on each floor. All vending machine on each floor. The pool was always busy when we went to try and go to it so didn't really use it due to the busyness of it. The spa lady was very nice, I had a pedicure and my husband had a massage. The hotel is near shops, bars, places to eat, bus depot. The car museum is about 5minute walk away and the aquarium is about 15 minute walk away. The loveage restuarant across the road from the hotel was lovely when we ate there, we think it is owned by the hotel as we noticed the staff that worked in the restaurant also worked in the hotel in the morning at breakfast. The places we ate at were the red lion, michelles(lovely cakes here, homemade everyday), 9 balls(has a kids play area at the back and snooker/billiard tables), the wall(chinese). Found the drinks in the hotel were not too expensive, which was good. Was a bit noisy at night in the corridors but nothing to conserning.
