“Wonderful place!!”

Love every minute!! Hotel- It could be that there were not many other couples staying but its was so quiet it was like we had hired the place for ourselves. Everything traditional Italian. Love every minute!! Hotel- It could be that there were not many other couples staying but its was so quiet it was like we had hired the place for ourselves. Everything traditional Italian. Beautiful old farm buildings with a couple of sweet cats keeping tabs on everyone :) . Away from the road up a long track through their olive groves (they make their own wine and olive oil etc) we even got a free tour of the grounds and oil tasting. We also met a lovely couple who we had drinks with. Staff- all staff wonderful. Quiet and respectful but friendly. The young lady doing the tour was delightful! Room- very clean, traditional, quiet. WiFi was ok but phone signal was great too with 4g all the time. Didn’t use the TV (not sure why you would while on holiday). Room was very cool and a great respite from the heat. Some reviews said the rooms were dark but I liked that. We had double doors to open and sit out on the terrace if you wanted to. The ONLY negative was the bed being very hard. I got used to it but maybe the offer of a softer topper would be good :) Pool- oh wow, this was like a private beach club. Beautiful area. Only saw two other people. If you go and ask, they will bring you drinks to the pool and we had a bottle of Prosecco in an ice bucket and it was less than €20 brought to your lounger!! Food and drink- we had an amazing meal here! Again, very traditional and we had a few bottles of their own wine which was very good value and was excellent! We would have bought 10 cases if we could. Please try the Nonno! Great coffee! Thank you so much to everyone there for a great stay! We will be back!

“An absolute gem, tranquil with delicious food and lovely pool”

We stayed here whilst on a cycling holiday, what an absolute gem! We stayed here whilst on a cycling holiday, what an absolute gem! Hidden down a long track away from the road amongst olive trees, this is a beautiful old fortified farmhouse with courtyard and a wonderful large very clean swimming pool. It’s rural, away from the town so is a lovely peaceful, secluded location. We received a lovely warm welcome and drink of orange juice which we were very grateful for after a days cycling in the sun. The room was spacious with lovely little sample toiletries they make from their own olive oil. The service was excellent, the staff could not have been more lovely! And the food was delicious and beautifully presented. A beautiful place to stay, thank you for looking after us so well.

“Warm and friendly, comfortable and peaceful.”

Masseria Bosco is located a little way off the main road, deep within large olive groves. We hugely enjoyed five nights here, in a well equipped and comfortable room. The hotel was not busy, but we were so well looked after by the family and staff in every respect. They offered good suggestions for… lisää

Masseria Bosco is located a little way off the main road, deep within large olive groves. We hugely enjoyed five nights here, in a well equipped and comfortable room. The hotel was not busy, but we were so well looked after by the family and staff in every respect. They offered good suggestions for our daily trips in the area, with maps and information to help. We particularly enjoyed their own excellent wines and in the restaurant, which is itself a most interesting room, we were treated to an excellent menu of dishes at very reasonable prices. Breakfast was continental but was adequate to satisfy most tastes. Outside, there is a huge pool area, and other seating where the hotel is clearly able to accommodate larger numbers. These were little used during our stay, but would be welcome facilities in busier times.

“Great Stay..”

The reception was very welcoming and the building looked amazing. The rooms are fantastic and really comfortable. We had a "shower cubicle " in the bathroom that promised a jet wash shower - alas we had a normal shower.... The accommodation is set in an olive oil production area in a very quiet lo… lisää

We had a "shower cubicle " in the bathroom that promised a jet wash shower - alas we had a normal shower.... The accommodation is set in an olive oil production area in a very quiet location. Unfortunately the main bar, swimming pool and restaurant is located 10mins walk away - be careful not to get lost....down the track and turn left - a signpost would be nice. Very good breakfast. Staff very helpful We also had an Olive Oil tasting- very informative- unfortunately the rest of our group stopped me asking more questions. I learnt a lot, the guide was obviously very passionate about his craft. The meal we had was very tasty especially the veal. Recommended....
