“Excellent Resort”

Love this Resort! The staff are all excellent and very kind and helpful with my elderly mother. The resort is beautiful and clean, there's lots to do, and the food is excellent, especially Zai's! We recently stayed at Royal Solaris Los Cabos as a family of four and had an overall enjoyable experience, though there are definitely areas that could use improvement. The room was adequate for our needs—clean, spacious enough, and equipped with everything we required. The bathroom was particularly large, which was a nice bonus. The view, however, was just okay and nothing particularly memorable. The main pool was a highlight in terms of size and temperature—it was perfect for relaxing and spending time as a family. That said, the music was often far too loud in the afternoons, which took away from the atmosphere. Additionally, there didn’t seem to be enough staff clearing empty plates and cups, which led to birds gathering around leftover food—something we found quite unpleasant. The poolside bathrooms were also frequently quite smelly. The pool itself became noticeably dirty by the end of the day, with bugs, hair, and debris floating around. The snack bar had mixed results. While the pizza was excellent, the line was consistently long and the wait time could be frustrating. Other snack options were often served cold. Drinks were decent, but we’ve definitely had better at similar resorts. The buffet was average overall. Food trays were often empty and slow to be refilled, and some of the breakfast options were a bit unusual. Cleanliness was occasionally an issue, as we encountered chairs with bird droppings more than once and had to request replacements. While we never went hungry, there were times it was difficult to find something truly satisfying. On a positive note, the service was generally very good. The à la carte restaurants were a standout—delicious food—but reservations were difficult to secure, and we were only able to dine at two during our stay. The beach was beautiful, the weather was fantastic, and the staff throughout the resort were friendly and welcoming. One of the absolute highlights of our trip was the couples massage at the spa, which was a 10/10 experience. Overall, we did enjoy our stay, but there is definitely room for improvement in areas like cleanliness, food consistency, and overall maintenance.
