This hotel is located on a corner in the real downtown Cozumel. It’s a hidden jewel once you step through the doors. Every person that works there goes out of their way to be helpful, friendly and kind. Breakfast is a lot of fun especially during torrential rains. The pool area is absolutely charming. My room was spotlessly clean with a polished floor. It had strong wifi and a fridge, great AC and modern bathroom. This hotel is lovingly decorated and feels like being in Abuela’s house. During torrential rain taxis are hard to come by. The staff stood outside flagging one down for me. If you are looking for 5 stars bells and whistles look elsewhere. If you are looking for safe, charming, clean and close to the airport choose this hotel.

Stayed here one night before switching to a Airbnb closer to Centro. I asked for an early checkin and received it with an upgraded room. Stayed here one night before switching to a Airbnb closer to Centro. I asked for an early checkin and received it with an upgraded room. The room was on the interior poolside which is the only place I would stay as the band at the bar across the street is obnoxiously loud. From my room halfway down the hall i couldn’t hear it at all. The front desk woman was friendly and very helpful. The room had some small issues but no deal breakers. Complimentary breakfast poolside was actually very good and the breakfast team were very efficient. Breakfast consisted of a full pot of coffee left on your table, eggs any style including Mexican with beans & tortillas and juice. This location isn’t ideal for walking around tourist town near the water but there are some great locals restaurants with delicious very affordable food. I would absolutely stay here again with an interior room far from the street.

Majoituimme täällä kahden viikon ajan, koska talomme oli sen aikaa vuokralla. Tykkäsimme sijainnista aivan keskustassa ja lähellä suosikki-taqueriaamme ja supermarkettia. Huoneissa oli monia pikkuvikoja mutta ei mitään massiivista. Isompi ongelma oli allas, jossa ei ollut portaita tai kaiteita mistä kiivetä. Paikka oli siisti ja ilmastointi toimi hyvin. Huoneissa oli paljon lämmintä vettä ja henkilökunta oli ystävällistä. Kadulla oli paljon pysäköintitilaa. WiFi oli ihan hyvä (silloin kun se toimi). Emme koittaneet ravintolaa. Olimme käyneet paikan päällä ennen kuin varasimme huoneen joten tiesimme mitä odottaa: simppeliä, edullista majapaikkaa. Tämä hotelli on majapaikka meksikolaisille perheille ja (ei-johtajatason) työmatkalaisille. Kyseessä ei ole mikään resortti.

“Great staff - hotel is sub par”

I felt the price we paid for this hotel was not warranted based on the quality for the following reasons: 1. Shower drain was broken and had a piece of round plastic covering it to protect you getting cut on the metal pieces. 2. Decor is not great. 3. We had to ask for toilet paper a few times… lisää

I felt the price we paid for this hotel was not warranted based on the quality for the following reasons: 1. Shower drain was broken and had a piece of round plastic covering it to protect you getting cut on the metal pieces. 2. Decor is not great. 3. We had to ask for toilet paper a few times as opposed to it being supplied during cleaning. 4. We talked to a number of other people who paid less than half what we paid - in fairness this was my fault. I booked on booking.com and paid what they asked. One couple booked at the hotel and were able to negotiate a price less than half what we paid. 5. It is situated across the street from a night club and the music is very loud. We initially thought it would make sleeping a problem but fortunately it didn't bother us at all. 6. Smoking was allowed on the patio during breakfast. On the positive side: 1. Staff are great. The breakfast staff and cleaning staff are very accommodating and friendly. The breakfast staff will cut up fruit for you if you ask. Miriam was a favorite for us because she spoke fluent english. 2. The place is very clean - they are cleaning all day. The pool is cleaned regularly - but is quite cold. I liked it this way actually. 3. It is close to the downtown plaza. 4. The AC works really well. 5. They have two hotel cats. :) This could be a negative for some people. 6. The bed is very comfortable - we had a king sized bed which was fantastic. The bedding was changed frequently - I think every other day. The bed is made up every day. Overall I would stay here again but would expect a much lower price.
