We visited Tulum for a couple days and decided to stay in town instead of the beach area. We stayed in Layla, a very small boutique hotel. We visited Tulum for a couple days and decided to stay in town instead of the beach area. We stayed in Layla, a very small boutique hotel. Layla is very nice and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, especially Kat. We got there early and our room was not ready yet. We were hungry, after a long flight, and she recommended a local taco place within walking distance from the hotel, and it did not disappoint. She was full of recommendations. Everyone was very helpful. We wanted to walk around the little town and have dinner and drinks, again, Kat gave us some good recommendations. If we ever go back to Tulum, we’d definitely stay here again.

A really beautiful hotel with very clean and beautiful rooms. Everything feels fresh, and the overall vibe is relaxed and welcoming. The location is great, right next to a street with lots of good bars and restaurants. It’s a perfect spot if you want to explore Tulum Pueblo. What really makes this hotel special is the staff. They are very helpful and always ready to assist you. Whether you need help booking a taxi, recommendations for places to go, or have any kind of problem inside or outside the hotel, you can just message them and they reply within seconds. The breakfast is good, nothing fancy, but eating it on the rooftop of this beautiful hotel makes it a great experience. We had a great overall experience and would 100% recommend this hotel.

“Nice centrally located”

We had a one night stay after a flight in Layla Tulum. Overall, a very nice place and centrally located in the heart of Tulum. Parking is possible on the streets in front of the entrance. The hotel has a nice chill vibe and the rooftop pool is nice as well. However, there is some maintenance to be… lisää

We had a one night stay after a flight in Layla Tulum. Overall, a very nice place and centrally located in the heart of Tulum. Parking is possible on the streets in front of the entrance. The hotel has a nice chill vibe and the rooftop pool is nice as well. However, there is some maintenance to be done for those details that would make it a 5 star stay. Some of the furniture and facilities need some work (broken tile in the pool, rusted furniture and spots on the sunbeds), nothing to serious but worth mentioning. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. Service was great.

The hotel rooms were nice, the Moroccan themed property is pretty cute and the location is very convenient; however, rooms were rather small, though with a pretty good bathroom. They had breakfast included but that was very poor quality food and didn’t seem very fresh. Price was ok, but not very … lisää

They had breakfast included but that was very poor quality food and didn’t seem very fresh. Price was ok, but not very economical, given the overall quality of the place. All in all, I would say this hotel is just about ok .., I am sure you can find better places.
