“Carnival”
The Gran Bahía was a home run for us. We were in Bocas during carnival and the Gran Bahía was at the other end of town from the festivities, so it was realitively quiet. “Decent stay, but dated”
Decent stay in this basic hotel. A bit expensive for what it is. Nice terrace area on the top floor where you can bring food and drinks. Free water cooler and tea was much appreciated. “No breakfast. Dated hotel.”
No breakfast. The hallways had a coffee tea hot/cold water set up w a bowlful of sticky candies. Dated interior. Spotty WiFi. For the price I would not recommend this. There are lot more choices for lodging in town. I chose the hotel as it was closer to the Bocas dive center.

“Quaint but overpriced ”
I recently stayed at the Gran Bahia for two nights while in Bocas on a solo over the holiday. Pros: The hotel is located well and as very easy to find from the dock after being dropped off later than expected in the rain.
