We had the most wonderful stay here! Great rooms, great location, great food, amazing/kind/helpful staff and even a super fun karaoke night. Thank you Jeff and crew for the first-class hospitality, your beautiful hotel was a highlight of our Azores tour.

We had a flight diversion to the Acores Islands due to a technical issue and everyone in the town was quick to help support the 350+ passengers on the flight. We had a flight diversion to the Acores Islands due to a technical issue and everyone in the town was quick to help support the 350+ passengers on the flight. This hotel in particular worked with us and made sure we got a room even with an influx of inquires. In a stressful time, their staff were attentive and helped calm our nerves after the flight scare. The food/drinks are great as well at the Texan and the location is ideal for exploring the city. Hope to get back one day for vacation to the Acores and will look to book here

Great location. Staff is bilingual with an American owner. Excellent restaurant (Tex Mex and excellent cocktails) and coffee shop on site. Great location. Staff is bilingual with an American owner. Excellent restaurant (Tex Mex and excellent cocktails) and coffee shop on site. There’s karaoke on Friday and Saturday nights where things can get a little loud which we enjoyed but some others may not. The room was fully stocked for a long weekend but would work for those staying longer as well. Complementary breakfast was very nice.

“Fits “Angra" like a Glove”

Like “Angra” the quaint cobblestoned, iron work windowed and colorful house UNESCO site where the hotel is centrally located, the Acores Authentic Boutique Hotel is charming and welcoming. The staff, from the two owners, who are actively involved, to the front desk person, who helped plan our days by talking to me about the trails she had hiked, made our visit more enjoyable. The location was perfect and the room was spacious and comfortable. It is in the middle of the city with a cobblestone street in front and outdoor dining on the sidewalk. If you want the pleasant sounds of quaint Angra, you can crack your windows. The bells from the Cathedral of Angra do Heroismo, which is across the street, will make sure you are up at 8:30. Otherwise close the very solid balcony doors and muffle the city out.
