This hotel is WONDERFUL!!! The best part is the 5 star restaurant. Isobel has taken such good care of us - she is gracious and professional and warm. The sommelier Rodrigo is so knowledgeable - we are in our 70's and you would think that we would know everything about wine at this age, but he has taught us, and introduced us to some lovely wines.

“Newer hotel, good location, but mediocre management skills”

Hotel is close to Sao Miguel. One of the newer hotels, hence reason for the booking. Rooftop has a great view, however, pool size is small and the hotel pics can be a bit misleading. Hotel is close to Sao Miguel. One of the newer hotels, hence reason for the booking. Rooftop has a great view, however, pool size is small and the hotel pics can be a bit misleading. Lounge chairs were always full when we attempted. Breakfast selection was great and food was delicious. Servers were friendly. Biggest disappointment was when hotel staff tried to give us a double room upon check in without disclosure of changing our room. Upon walking into our room, we discovered the 2 twin bed room, where I recalled booking a King size room way in advance. At first I was doubting myself why I would book a double room, luckily I had a printout with email confirmation that shows my original booking with points was a King size room. When I brought this to the manager's attention, Tomislav Gregorovic, he has a dismissive attitude at first. Did not bother apologizing for the mix up and only stated for me to give a copy of my email confirmation to research what happened. Never heard back from him on what happened nor any apology. Lesson learned: strongly advise you to print out your confirmation!

“Overall this hotel is fine”

Hotel is newer & rooms are well equipped for the most part…the iron in my room leaked all over everything & replacement was falling apart. I’m not sure how the cooling system works in summer months, but the minimum setting was 19C for us & it was uncomfortable trying to sleep at that temperature. T… lisää

Hotel is newer & rooms are well equipped for the most part…the iron in my room leaked all over everything & replacement was falling apart. I’m not sure how the cooling system works in summer months, but the minimum setting was 19C for us & it was uncomfortable trying to sleep at that temperature. The rooms are eco friendly, shutting down when you’re not in the room but they need to figure out a better way to cool things down. Water pressure & hair dryer were great. Front desk staff could definitely use some work. They sent us to a closed restaurant once & had no recommendations for meals a different night. Lastly, the breakfast buffet is large. However it’s not that good. Many of the “hot” items were absolutely cold everyday. The coffee isn’t close to great. Overall underwhelming- it was part of our package deal otherwise there is no way we’d have paid for it daily. The area is quieter which was fine for us but if you’re looking to do something every night, this probably isn’t for you. Would most likely stay elsewhere if we returned.
