This is now a Best Western. What we liked: clean rooms, quiet location, good view of the sea. The sauna is located in a separate spa on the ground floor of the hotel. Hotel guests must make reservations and pay 15 euro to use the sauna. Our room contained a wine cooler, and not a refrigerator. A wine cooler should not be used to store dairy products.

Rooms are spacious and nicely-decorated. We had views out over the bay. Large double bed was very comfortable. There's a mini fridge, reasonable size TV, some open storage. Rooms are spacious and nicely-decorated. We had views out over the bay. Large double bed was very comfortable. There's a mini fridge, reasonable size TV, some open storage. Bathroom is spacious and well put together with a good shower. Rooms are well sound-insulated. The only disturbance is from the heavy doors which are difficult to close without making a racket. There's an on-site restaurant which we didn't use, and a fitness room with treadmill, exercise bike, and various other machines for those that know what to do with them. Plenty of on-site parking. Location is good for exploring the area. There's a few shops and restaurants in the nearby town, although if you want to eat anywhere in the evening it's probably worth booking in advance as there aren't that many places and they tend to close pretty early even in high season. The GR34 coastal path is right outside the hotel so you can take a walk along the north side of the tidal bay beside the salt marshes. Our only complaint is that one of our rooms suffered from an unpleasant smell from the drainage system. We were moved to another room, but in my opinion the original room was not fit to be rented out to guests. Hotel management should have fixed the problem properly (not just with cleaning products) or closed that room permanently.

Stayed for one night as part of a Brittany Ferries package before going onto our gite. Modern hotel. Ate in the restaurant at night. Food was good with a selection of menus and a la carte. Stayed for one night as part of a Brittany Ferries package before going onto our gite. Modern hotel. Ate in the restaurant at night. Food was good with a selection of menus and a la carte. They adapted the main course for my wife who is gluten free. There is a secure car park to the rear. Hotel is dog friendly. There are some nice walks along the coast and estuary. There is a casino just around the corner but we did not chance our luck.

The hotel is situated near the edge of the sea wall and has a beautiful view over the bay at Plouescat. It's also at the beginning of the walking path that goes around the bay. The hotel is situated near the edge of the sea wall and has a beautiful view over the bay at Plouescat. It's also at the beginning of the walking path that goes around the bay. The three star hotel is as we expected and we had an uneventful stay here. Yes parts of the hotel are getting a bit old, but my understanding is they will renovate soon. My only complaint is that hair-dryer was a bit weak. Beyond that the bed was comfortable and the room quiet.
