Good hotel. The location is pretty central, a 5-minute walk to the cathedral. Nice helpful front desk. The room was good. The private parking next to the hotel is tight for a big car although manageable.

We stayed here one night while travelling and were happy to do so. It is in a good location near the Old Town in Quimper (where incidentally there seemed to be quite a few vacant shops). We stayed here one night while travelling and were happy to do so. It is in a good location near the Old Town in Quimper (where incidentally there seemed to be quite a few vacant shops). The room was pretty small (but to be fair we chose a basic room and the price was reasonable). Check in was slow but the staff were all friendly and helpful. The public parking close to it was fine. All in all a good place to stay for an easy night seeing Quimper as long as you are not looking for anything special.

“Comfortable and welcoming”

Extremely welcoming and helpful reception for our late arrival, and staff in the morning also very helpful. Bed very comfortable. Cleanliness of bathroom and room excellent. I liked the separate shower room and toilet. Breakfast good too. Was disappointed to find no tea making facility in the room… lisää

Was disappointed to find no tea making facility in the room but reception kindly supplied kettle and cups (we had our own tea and supplies). Room quite small.

“Misleading photos on hotel website”

The hotel is very well situated, just across the river from the main city. It is clean and well-maintained. We booked a Prestige room, all of these are on the 4th floor, and the only ones with A/C, which was a godsend during the recent extreme heatwave. The room and bathroom were spacious and the b… lisää

The hotel is very well situated, just across the river from the main city. It is clean and well-maintained. We booked a Prestige room, all of these are on the 4th floor, and the only ones with A/C, which was a godsend during the recent extreme heatwave. The room and bathroom were spacious and the bed was comfortable. However, the photos on the hotel website show these rooms as having a small red upholstered sofa. There was no such sofa in our room, nor any other chairs, just two small stools. Even the most basic hotel rooms have at least one chair. We pointed this out to the reception staff, they checked the photos on the website, and seemed surprised, saying that these rooms had never had any sofas or chairs in. They gave us two chairs from their meetings area, which were better than nothing. There were constant coach parties coming and going, and the reception area was often very full with groups of people and their luggage taking up all the space. We soon learned to avoid the coach parties at breakfast, as the serving area is quite small, and does not accommodate a large group of people at one time. The website states that the restaurant is currently closed, this is because they are serving evening meals to the coach parties most evenings. Also, the bar area shown in the website was re-configured for one day to accommodate a large coach party, so not available for other guests.
