“Great, friendly hotel”

We stayed for three nights in a room with balcony overlooking the garden. The room was spotlessly clean with comfortable beds,shower and bath, free safe. We stayed for three nights in a room with balcony overlooking the garden. The room was spotlessly clean with comfortable beds,shower and bath, free safe. Just missing was a heated rail to dry towels and swimming costumes. The hotel has free wifi which worked well throughout all areas. There is a comfortable lounge area and bar. The staff were very helpful and friendly and were able to make out our stumbling French although several spoke English. The heated swimming pool is a big bonus, robes and towels provided, and several times we had it to ourselves. Now the food! Breakfast is a real feast with bacon,scrambled egg ,sausages, cold meat,cheese, yoghurt, pastries, fresh fruit, boiled eggs,croissants etc. We had elected for half board (recommended) and our evening meals were four course changing daily. The meals were tasty, varied,nicely presented and the quantities generous. The only negative was that we thought the wines to be on the expensive side with very few half bottles available, but you could retain any unused wine from a bottle until the next day so not really a problem. Parking at the hotel was not a problem since there is plenty of space and it is free, and for those with mobility problems there is a lift to all floors. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel with its lovely restaurant overlooking the beach and we are already planning our next trip.

Forth time in a row at Europa hotel in Quiberon. Still an unforgettable souvenir. Overlooking Quiberon's bay, this very well managed hotel is the place to relax. Being most of the time fully booked during the high season, you would be lucky to have the chance to stay there. The sand beach is just a stone throw from the hotel. The renovated room are very quiet, sea view or overlooking the garden. If you stay half board, which I recommend, you will enjoy a somptuous buffet for the breakfast under the supervision of the master Astrid. The three courses diner is diversified with products from local fish and sea food. Staff is professional and has a paramount to satisfy your best wishes. The Chef is experienced to offer each day a diversified selection and innovative food. The hotel offers complimentary shuttle for local destination and specially the discovery of Belle Ile island. Indoor swiming pool, spa, bicycle to rent to discover this tiny part of Quiberon peninsula. We met years after years repeaters coming from all over Euope which is for sure a sign of quality. You are looking for farniente and cocooning, Europa is the place to stay. Don't hesitate to ask Annie or Jean-Paul the managers they will their best to make your vacation a unique experience.

“Lovely hotel”

A good hotel in a second best location, could have been better in Port Maria. Very friendly staff, very clean and good breakfast. Evening meal also good. Hotel and restaurant quite expensive particularly due to the drop in exchange rate £ to Euro. Would certainly recommend

“Dated hotel - great location”

On the positive side, this hotel has a wonderful location with a very nice beach just across the street. Unfortunately, the decor - as other reviewers mentioned - is dated, and not in a good way. On the positive side, this hotel has a wonderful location with a very nice beach just across the street. Unfortunately, the decor - as other reviewers mentioned - is dated, and not in a good way. Same goes for the restaurant - breakfast buffet is ok, great views, but you get much better value for money for the evening meal elsewhere. They try hard for a fancy restaurant appeal, but we found the food didn't measure up. Our room was tiny (couldn't even open the suitcases on the floor) and the bathroom horrible. No upgrade available. Without the balcony for extra space, it would have been grim. We stayed on because of the great location, the nice beach and because alternatives in Quiberon in July are hard to come by. So - if you can, book one of the larger rooms (some seem to have been renovated) and don't bother with the restaurant in the evenings. Many great alternatives for that. Staff was really friendly, but can't make up for a horrible room.
