Had a great stay in Hotel Marebaudiere, our family had 2 rooms, a double and a twin. Everyone slept well. The facilities were clean and comfortable. The staff were execellent, they spoke good English and put up with our terrible French. The hotel is a short way from the old town of Vannes which leads you to the water and yachts. A very lovely place to stop en route back from the south.

Very nice hotel, 10-15 minutes to the port however it can be walked along the ramparts or through the centre ville which are both only five minutes away. Very nice hotel, 10-15 minutes to the port however it can be walked along the ramparts or through the centre ville which are both only five minutes away. The bedroom while not huge is adequate and everything is there. The bed is very comfortable. The bathroom however is not up to the standard of the rest of the hotel, it requires updating.

“Clean and comfortable”

I slept well. Bathrooms are vintage and shower is tricky to work out but room is perfectly comfortable, quiet and clean. Comfy bed Nice breakfast, pleasant staff. Perfect for business trips. Perhaps not the ideal place for a romantic weekend.

Whilst this is rated a 4 star hotel, the facilities and customer service would rate it lower from my own experience. The bathroom was very basic, and the toilet was on a plinth and very difficult to get on and off. The shower door was hanging off and would not close. The bed was comfortable. Howev… lisää

Whilst this is rated a 4 star hotel, the facilities and customer service would rate it lower from my own experience. The bathroom was very basic, and the toilet was on a plinth and very difficult to get on and off. The shower door was hanging off and would not close. The bed was comfortable. However, the pillows were not. They were very old and somewhat tatty. The breakfast was very poor, very limited cooked breakfast, and the bacon was served undercooked. Scrambled egg, which they ran out of. Anaemic sausages. All served luke warm. Coffee and tea from a machine. Fruit salad that had clearly been frozen and, of poor quality. Lots of drilling and banging took place throughout the day, so afternoon resting was difficult. Some positive things were that they had a large car park. There was a lift. The hotel is a mile from the town, so only a 20-minute walk.
