I rented a room for 3 nights while researching the area for my next book based on the fact that the hotel is located in the foothills of the lovely mountains rather than in the middle of town. I rented a room for 3 nights while researching the area for my next book based on the fact that the hotel is located in the foothills of the lovely mountains rather than in the middle of town. I found this contributed to a peaceful experience! Great walking close by, and restaurants for the Agora. Commercial shopping center close by, too. The manager, Shirley, and owner, Sabine, of this hotel bent over backwards to make me comfortable, answer questions, and offer support.

We stayed here on a Saturday evening, the hotel was not very busy based on the number of cars in the carpark. The carpark and all doors in the hotel are accessed via your personal key code, making it very secure, you even needed the code to exit the carpark, there was CCTV in the carpark as well. … lisää

We stayed here on a Saturday evening, the hotel was not very busy based on the number of cars in the carpark. The carpark and all doors in the hotel are accessed via your personal key code, making it very secure, you even needed the code to exit the carpark, there was CCTV in the carpark as well. The hotel is in the industrial zone, but being a weekend we didn't have a problem with noise. There is a large shopping centre with supermarket, other shops, restaurants and petrol/fuel station near by. On arrival we were welcomed by the receptionist and provided with our room number and key code, the entrance/ breakfast area was clean and tidy, drinks and snack machines were also located here. We did like the early check in time, our room was available from 12:00, which meant we had plenty of time to get down to the oats for some sightseeing. Even though we hadn't booked breakfast, the staff were helpful and we were able to have breakfast in the hotel rather than drive into town on a very wet Sunday morning. For 6€ or thereabouts it was good value. Our room was as expected, not large, but as its a budget hotel it was functional, the bathroom was clean and to our surprise the shower had a full shower/hair gel dispenser. The air conditioning worked well although in the night this was very noise. The pillows on the bed left a lot to be desired, they were flat and uncomfortable, so much so we all had headaches the next morning. If we stay in this style of hotel again, I'll bring my own pillow.

“Very average”

Welcoming receptionist, well organized check-in and parking access procedure. The room is very basic, as one could expect from an Ibis Budget. What was much less expected were the dirty shower floor with countless hair and the very suspicious dark marks at the bottom of the glass shower panel..
