Friendly receptionist and clean, well air-conditioned rooms made for a pleasant stay. The lack of any tea or coffee making facilities or a fridge was a shame, ditto much space to dry towels and bathers after the beach. We had a terrace room. The terrace was a 2.5m square box amongst the roof tiles with no shade and little room to move. It was however serviceable outdoor space. Just. The breakfast was decent, however the buffet layout meant diners getting in each others way. We took our bikes and there is a well secured shed for bike storage but only one key at reception. If you're coming back late from town, you will need to lock your bikes outside. The beach is 400m away and the description of the hotel was accurate. We thought it was fair value but could be so much better if Logis spent some money on it. For example, the entrance patio has cracked tiles and horrible cheap plastic furniture. The gardens are unkempt and fairly pointless e.g a weird rusty crazy golf course that nobody uses and a tick- the- box petangue terrain. This hotel would be awesome if it was tidied up and a pool added (to the rear garden). It's clearly just a B&B and it does well enough at that, but the delusions of grandeur (defunct restaurant and hotel moniker) all need an update. I would stay there again however. Nice staff, clean and comfortable (great beds) with easy parking not far from the beach.

“Delightful Welcome ”

a clean simple hotel with quality bedrooms and bathrooms. Just a short walk from the sea. you can hear the waves at night! solar heating for that 'ecological touch' we were welcomed by a most delightful and helpful hostess who also prepared breakfast! definitely recommend.

3*-hotel of the Logis de France hotel chain. Very well located in a quiet residential area, 5 min. walk to the beach, 10 min. to the centre of the village. Our (standard) room was on the ground floor. It had a big comfy boxspring bed (1m80 wide x 2m10 long!) with thick soft topper and enough storage room. The window had shutters and the room had a good working air conditioning. It looked as if the room had been renovated recently (no decoration, though). Such a shame they didn't do the same to the bathroom. This was really old and in need of - at least - a lick of paint. Therefore my overall rating of 4 instead of 5. Everything was very clean, though. Extensive buffet breakfast in the morning with fresh orange juice (you can make your own juice), cold cuts, cheese, the best baguettes and croissants ever, etc. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a private parking (street parking wouldn't be a problem, either) and a closed 'chalet' for bikes. Very convenient. We had dinner at the hotel one night and though it wasn't bad, we felt it was somewhat expensive. We were sorry to leave after five nights.
