We stayed the last two weeks of June 2019 and were really pleased with our apartment (top floor above reception, overlooking the pool). We stayed the last two weeks of June 2019 and were really pleased with our apartment (top floor above reception, overlooking the pool). All of the staff were friendly and helpful, the pool and whole site were kept very well. Food and drink at the diner/bar was very nice. The site is in a good location, an easy 35-40 minute stroll into Lacanau Ocean. The weather was absolutely fabulous, between 25°C and 38°C, which enabled us to watch the amazing sunsets from the Super Sud Plage - with a lovely visit by a passing pod of dolphins! All in all, a great holiday. My only, slight, gripe - I found the bed a little too hard 😊

A last minute choice, but a good price, and we didn't really know what to expect. The resort is divided into a number of accommodation types. We had a smaller apartment in Saint Julien with one bedroom with two single beds for the kids and a sofa bed. it was a pretty tight squeeze and the kitchen facilities are fairly minimal so if the weather was poor it could be difficult. On the upside the animation team were exceptional and the pool and playground facilities as good as it gets. Clientele is probably 98% French so all communication is naturally in French, but if we wanted English, we could have stayed in Margate. Very convenient for one of the most beautiful and clean beaches you'll ever see - at Lacanau, just 10 minutes by bike - and yet surrounded by the cool shade of a pine forest, this is a great value for money holiday.

The holiday park is in a great location and is not too large. 95% are french and 5% British. All the activities are in french which we found frustrating but totally understandable as we are in France after all. The holiday park is in a great location and is not too large. 95% are french and 5% British. All the activities are in french which we found frustrating but totally understandable as we are in France after all. The Introduction Session on Sunday morning is all in french so after 10 minutes we left as we couldn't understand anything. It would have been useful for the park to produce a summary leaflet in english. We had a house in Merlot. The size was fine for the 4 of us but for 6 it would have been a squeeze. The kitchen was well equipped - shame there is no oven. The sofa/sofa bed smelt badly and was very uncomfortable to sit on. It must have had weeks of peoples sweat and other bodily fluids absorbed into it - just dreadful. Beds were fine. Bathroom and downstairs toilet smelt even with air freshners. Basic Wi Fi was fine. The pool was great - never too busy. We always got a sunbed whatever the time of day. The restaurant/takeaway is expensive but the food and service are very good. We would have eaten there more often if it had been cheaper. We took our own cycles with us and cycled every day. The bike rides are brilliant. Loads of safe family cycle rides. The beaches are great - our favourite was Plage Sud. Easy to cycle to and free parking for the car. We shopped at Super U in Lacanau town and it had everything we needed. We had one day of rain and there really is nothing to do. Everything is outdoors. Spending time in the house with the smelly sofa was depressing. All in all this was a very good holiday and I would return if I knew the sofa was going to be clean and hygenic!!

Lovely setting within a pine forest with a village/resort style feel. Good size large pool and OK restaurant on site. Friendly enough staff. Good location on the edge of Lacanau. BUT not a great property that we stayed in (1 bed apartment). It was very basic and in need of attention (marks on walls, chipped paint, basic mattress etc.). Needed better cleaning - sticky marks, dirty walls, balcony covered in food and muck on our arrival. Basic is fine as long as its clean. Disappointing as we have stayed in other PV properties in past and they were much better. Far too expensive for what we paid for not a great standard, irrespective of it being high season.

Lovely location set in the pinelands with cycle paths to the beach, lake and local town. Pool was clean and enjoyable. Restaurant was hit and miss depending on what you ordered. Lovely location set in the pinelands with cycle paths to the beach, lake and local town. Pool was clean and enjoyable. Restaurant was hit and miss depending on what you ordered. We booked a two bed superior house for two people and our 18 month son, and it was very small and basic. If it's a rainy day, it's not somewhere you feel comfortable staying in to avoid the weather. Also, travel cot supplied was a joke as came with a thin plastic base which is not suitable for a 10 night stay and a proper matress should be supplied.
