“Nice hotel, not great surroundings”

Me and my partner came here to celebrate my birthday, the staff were very friendly with extras included on a special occasion! It is a very quiet hotel with only few people in. The rooms are very modern and beautifully designed giving the hotel a high end feel. The only downfall was the pools and our infinity pool was too cold to use. It is a beautiful hotel but the location is quite out of the way in the middle of nowhere where. It was quite a scary lane that is the entrance to the hotel we tried to explore nearby but there wasn’t anything local. The beach was okay but lots of construction near. This holiday would be great if you didn’t want to go explore or walk around the near areas, we tried to explore the nearby town Maravgat but found we didn’t have anything to do there so ended up paying for a taxi to go to a shopping centre that was quite bare too but we enjoyed different food to the hotel. We think this is good value for our stay and the cleanliness was perfect too. Our food selection was hard for us as we are quite fussy eaters so we lived of the chips and spaghetti but there was about 5 different options but seemed more German/ Turkish.

Sadly this hotel has gone down in the last 2 years. Sadly this hotel has gone down in the last 2 years. Stayed here 2 years ago and thought that tis was a stunning hotel with excellent staff, clean throughout and well cared for. sadly this has changed since we last visited, the deluxe room with its own pool is now lacking in cleaning care, with mold in the shower and the pool, with chipped and damaged tiles in the pool that causes scratches. The outside lounge area outside our room was very much overgrown, not allowing us to use the loungers, and in the main restaurant, the seats and chairs were filthy. Waiting and bar staff seemed so unhappy, and the menu is very repetitive, ok if you want chicken every night! The Management and owners have not invested in the property, and this now shows, so unfortunately we will never return, as the prices do not reflect the standard of upkeep that is required the the prices that are charged.
