Fabulous hotel to experience Venice, located just steps from the vaperettos to get across to Venice/Murano/Burano easily and quickly. Was actually nice to come back to the Lido at night and have a walk to the beach, plenty of places to shop/eat/drink along the main street. Our room was on the 4th floor with fabulous views of the lagoon, clean modern and stylish with great in room amenities and super comfy beds and pillows. Staff were so welcoming from arrival and each day at breakfast and evening meal, both which were very good. We felt so welcomed and this hotel definitely contributed massively to the special memories we have of Venice!

We stayed in standard room without view. The room had excellent standard. We will choose this hotel for our 4th visit. Every staff we met was of the highest standard.

“Needs to change and listen to customers”

On check in the room wasn’t ready, this gave us time to explore the area around, small bars and cafes, some nice restaurants and shops. Location is very good. On check in the room wasn’t ready, this gave us time to explore the area around, small bars and cafes, some nice restaurants and shops. Location is very good. When we went back we were upgraded to a better room, which had a huge balcony. Room was decent, modern and very clean. Unfortunately we had to call reception as we weren’t able to shut the bathroom window, which was huge. No one turned up, when we went down later, we advised again, thankfully it was done by our return. The first night we slept but it was so hot due to south facing, that it was uncomfortable. I asked the next day if the air conditioning could be put on, advised would ask manager! When we come back after exploring later, I asked again and was advised it wasn’t possible, no reason as to why! I’m menopausal and that night we had to sleep with the balcony doors open, which obviously come with some noise. I also had to wait on the last evening for someone to open the safe as the battery had died. Breakfast first morning, was so busy and barely anything left. Second morning was better as they actually cooked us some fresh eggs, as the ones remaining were hard and looked awful. The thing is with this hotel, is it could be brilliant but lead by a manager that doesn’t meet the needs of the paying customer is a recipe for disaster. The location was fab, the boats all over from here was great and minutes walk from hotel. Hired bikes and cycled round island to see the beaches, very easy and a lovely way to travel. Shout out to the young bar man, he was lovely when we chatted during a night cap. As a customer experience manager myself, it started well but let down by not checking equipment and not meeting customers needs.
